The Bar of Ireland

Roz was called to the Bar of Ireland in 2014 and practises predominantly in the area of administrative law. Over the past 6 years her practice has primarily focused on the area of planning and environmental law, where she has appeared at all levels of the Irish Courts and has acted on behalf of a range of clients, including An Coimisiún Pleanála (formerly An Bord Pleanála), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and commercial property developers.

Recent notable cases include Harte Peat v The Environmental Protection Agency [2022] IECA 276; Thomson v An Bord Pleanála [2025] IESC 31; Coolglass Windfarm Ltd v An Coimisiún Pleanála [2026] IESC 13 and Doyle v An Coimisiún Pleanála [2025] IEHC 158.

Roz holds a BA from Dublin City University, an LLM from Trinity College Dublin and an LLB from National University of Ireland, Galway. She previously worked as a Legal Researcher in the Law Reform Commission where she was one of the Principal Legal Researchers on the Search Warrants and Bench Warrants Report (published December 2015). She also worked on the Access to Legislation project, including both the Legislation Directory and Revised Acts.
