The Planning, Environmental and Local Government Bar Association (PELGBA) and the Law Society Environmental and Planning Law Committee are delighted to invite you to a joint CPD event which seeks to bring together barristers and solicitors working the areas of planning and environmental law.

The PELGBA Annual Conference will take place on 12 July 2024

PELGBA have received an invitation from the Aarhus Division in the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications to take part in a stakeholder consultation relating to Environmental Legal Costs.

The 2023 PELGBA Annual Conference took place on July 7.

While the Planning and Development Bill 2022 is a welcome attempt to clarify and streamline pre-existing planning legislation, certain provisions, in particular around judicial review, are likely to give cause for concern

This conference examined key provisions of the Planning & Development Bill 2023 published by the Government in November last year.

The Planning, Environmental and Local Government Bar Association (PELGBA) held their inaugural conference in the DDRC, Distillery Building on Saturday 29th February, chaired by The Hon. Mr Justice Brian Murray, Judge of the Court of Appeal.

The Planning, Environmental and Local Government Bar Association (PELGBA) held their Annual Conference on 27th May 2021. This was the first time PELGBA held their Annual Conference online.
