PELGBA: Implementing the Planning and Development Act 2024: Opportunities and Challenges

Hosted by the Planning, Environment and Local Government Bar Association (PELGBA) focused on the Planning and Development Act 2024. It commenced with a presentation on the Act by Cormac McNamara SC, followed by the view of An Coimisiún Pleanála - represented by Peter Mullan.  

A panel discussion followed, moderated by retired Supreme Court Judge Marie Baker. It featured Aoife Carroll SC, Stephen Dodd SC, Rachel Minch SC and Fred Logue, who looked at the opportunities and challenges presented by the Act - followed by a lively Q&A.
